Sell the Property Traditionally- This is what it says, traditional. This process can be intense, it is known in real estate industry that the nicer your house looks the more money it will sell for. Most people buy on emotion. They are incited when they can see themselves walking in and living it just the way that it is.
 
This means that the house has to be perfect in every aspect. Yes that means fixing the roof, painting inside and out, cleaning the carpeting, having nice presentable furniture, clean bathrooms that are mold free, all the drains and faucets work perfectly. All of this has to happen generally before the Realtor will list it on the MLS let alone have an open house.
 
This process takes a lot of work and time. If you are lucky enough to sell the house let alone for the asking price, you will then have go through the closing process and escrow. Typical time on market can vary from 6-9 months before entering the closing process.  In addition to time on market- closing can take up to two months depending the buyer, their credit score, and their funding. The buyer can also write in the contract that they have the right to refuse purchasing the property if it doesn't pass inspection. This reinforces the fact that your property needs to be in pristine condition to sell it.
